Half Moon Bay
On Buck Moon day, at Half Moon Bay,
the rusting Cerberus witnessed:
relentless tides above the horizon rose,
unforgiving waves gushed in,
onto bystanders sprinkled the warning mist’s constraint.
Brine on surfaces, splashed like vice’s memory—
slowly corroding the layer of lustrous paint.
Her Majesty’s Victorian Ship, once mighty,
now sunken, worn,
War and battles long gone.
Polyps proliferated, corals sing; deep in peace,
The colonial ship becomes home to life marine.
Let not salt’s harm seep beneath;
soft rain away the old angst and pain rinsed,
You and I, both entrenched,
Give our friendship a chance to glow anew from within.
-Forget the past, let the new chapter begin
雄鹿月满那天，在半月湾，
锈迹斑斑的 Cerberus 号见证了
海平面上无情的潮水涨潮，
和翻天的巨浪涌来，
向旁观者洒下警示性的约束。
海水溅到船体表面，如同罪恶的记忆——
慢慢腐蚀着那层光亮的油漆。
维多利亚女王时代战轮，曾经雄伟壮观，
如今沉没，破败不堪，
战争和搏斗早已远去。
珊瑚虫繁衍，珊瑚在宁静的深处歌唱：
这艘殖民船已成为海洋生物的家园。
别让盐的腐蚀渗透到底层；
让柔和的雨水冲去旧日的焦虑和痛苦，
你和我，都坚守着，
让我们那“友情之船”有机会从内而外
焕发新的光彩。
